A graduate in Psychology and Philosophy from University College Dublin, Martin worked in industry for twenty eight years in a number of senior roles, both in business operations and human resources while studying and developing his work with the Enneagram.

He has studied and worked with the Enneagram delivering coaching and training to individuals, couples, and groups for nearly thirty years. He is certified by the Narrative Enneagram and is an Accredited Professional by the International Enneagram Association.

Martin’s work as a professional Enneagram trainer and coach has brought him to many different countries to present or train, including the USA, the UK, France, Denmark, the Netherlands, Switzerland, Australia, as well as his home country, Ireland.

As a Senior member of the Enneagram in Business Network, he applies the Enneagram in his coaching, leadership, and team development trainings.

Martin is a former lead trainer with Enneagram Training UK, delivering professional Enneagram training in Ireland & the UK. In this role, he supervised trainee Enneagram teachers, both in Ireland, the UK and internationally. He is a guest facilitator with the South African Enneagram Professional training programme. Martin stood back from his work with Enneagram Training at the end of 2022 to focus on publishing his book on his approach to working with the Enneagram, More than a number.
